Made to Measure Curtains: The Artful Appearance of Linen, Elevated

The breezy, organic beauty of pure linen is undeniable. Yet, its upkeep—from persistent wrinkles to delicate care requirements—can be a practical challenge. The Zoe curtains beautifully resolve this, offering the same stunning aesthetic with the welcome ease of machine washing, making them as practical as they are beautiful.

They capture a sophisticated, woven texture while draping softly and fluidly right out of the package. You get the beauty of a high-end aesthetic with the simplicity of effortless care. Plus, because they are custom-made, they ensure a perfect, tailored fit for your windows, creating a polished and intentional look.

Finally, Curtains That Actually Fit Your Windows

Achieving the perfect curtain length is often a design challenge. Standard 84-inch panels may hang just short of the floor, while 96-inch panels can pool with excess fabric. The right length is essential to creating a tailored, polished finish for your room.

Achieve the exact length and width your space requires. From the drama of floor-to-ceiling curtains to a seamless solution for an extra-wide sliding door, a perfect fit is assured. When window treatments are tailored to your home, ceilings appear higher and the entire room feels more cohesive and professionally designed.

The "Is That Real?" Texture

Where many polyester curtains have a synthetic sheen, the Zoe fabric offers a refined matte finish. Its subtle, visible weave beautifully mimics the organic texture of natural fibers.

Customers tell us their guests constantly touch the fabric, assuming it's expensive linen. It filters sunlight beautifully, giving your room that warm, filtered "golden hour" glow during the day while maintaining privacy.

Blackout or Breezy? You Choose

One fabric, multiple functions. If you're styling a living room and want that airy feel, the unlined or privacy lining is perfect—it lets light wash in without exposing your home to the street.

Need these for a bedroom? To achieve a full 100% blackout effect, simply add our 100% blackout lining during the customization process. You get the same soft, elegant look on the inside, while blocking out streetlamps for the deep sleep you deserve. It’s the best of both worlds.

FAQ

Can I wash these in the machine?

Yes! Unlike real linen which often requires dry cleaning, the Zoe soft fabric is durable and low-maintenance. You can gently machine wash them, making them perfect for homes with pets or kids.

Will the room darkening option make them look stiff?

Nope. We use high-quality soft linings that block light while keeping the drape fluid and elegant. For total darkness, you can select our 100% blackout lining during the customization process. You won't get that crunchy, stiff feel that cheap blackout curtains often have.

Is the price for one panel or a pair (two panels)?

The price shown is for one curtain panel. For a typical window with a balanced look, you may want to order two panels (quantity 2).

When entering Panel Width, should I input total coverage width or one panel width?

On the product page, the Panel Width you select/enter is the finished size per panel.

  • Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
  • Use the Size Guide on the product page to calculate step-by-step.
  • If you’d like help, email support@thehues.com with your product link and measurements.
My rod/window width is X—how many panels do I need and what width should each panel be?

The Panel Width/Length you enter on the product page is the finished size per panel.

  • Per-panel width = (rod width × fullness) ÷ number of panels
  • Example: 100" rod width × 1.5 fullness ÷ 2 panels = 75" per panel.
  • Click the Size Guide on the product page for a step-by-step calculator, or contact support for help.
My required width/length isn’t listed (extra wide/long). Can you customize?

Yes. This listing supports per-panel width up to 200" and length up to 250". If your required size exceeds these limits, please email support@thehues.com and we’ll help you plan the right split/join solution.

Curtains need fullness—how much extra width should I add?

Different Header Styles correspond to different recommended fullness ratios.

  • Select your header first to see the recommended fullness in the Size Guide/selection area.
  • Our system will use this to calculate or suggest the best size for you.
  • Or, feel free to consult customer service for help.
What is a Header Style, and which one should I choose?

A header style is the top construction of the curtain—how it’s made and how it attaches to your rod or track.

  • Rod vs. track: match the header to your hardware.
  • Look: flat vs. pleated vs. wave, etc.
  • Use: frequent opening/closing often benefits from smoother track-friendly headers.

If you’re unsure, start with the Header Style Guide and match it to your setup.

Do the curtains include S hooks/pinch pleat hooks, or do I need to purchase them separately?

It depends on the header you choose:

  • Grommet / Back Tab / Rod Pocket: no hooks needed—slides directly onto a rod.
  • Pleated / Pleat Hook styles: we include the appropriate hooks based on your selection.
  • Roman Rings / Clip Rings: rings/clips are typically purchased separately to match your rod diameter.

To confirm hardware for a specific SKU, email support@thehues.com with the product link or your order number.

Will my rod diameter fit your grommets/loops?

Rod Pocket works best with rods ≤ 1.25" diameter. For Grommet, the internal diameter is about 1.56" and it pairs best with a 1.5" rod. Always confirm against the header option you select.

Is it 100% blackout? How effective is the thermal insulation?

Full blackout depends on the product and the lining you choose:

  • 100% Blackout products can achieve full blackout when installed properly with minimal gaps.
  • For most other curtains (excluding sheer/light-filtering styles), selecting a 100% Blackout Liner can dramatically increase light blocking.
  • Thermal insulation also depends on fabric thickness and lining—thermal/blackout fabrics or added liners typically provide better insulation.
Can you make pinch pleats (e.g., double/triple pleats)?

Yes. The guides list multiple pleated options such as Double/Triple French Pinch Pleat, Euro Pleat, Goblet, and Inverted Box Pleat. Availability depends on the header styles offered on your product page. See Measurement Guide and Header Styles.

Can I order swatches? How do I order them?

Yes. Order directly from Curtain Swatches: select your fabrics/colors and add them to cart.

Limits and shipping/fees follow the latest information shown on the swatch page.

Will swatch fees/shipping be credited or refunded with a full order?

Whether swatch shipping/fees can be credited toward a full order may vary by promotion.

Please email support@thehues.com to confirm the current rule before placing your full order.

I can’t find the swatch option for a specific color/product—what should I do?

Please email support@thehues.com with the product link and color name, and we’ll help confirm the matching swatch (or the closest available option).

Are tiebacks included or sold separately?

It varies by product—please follow the options shown on this curtain’s product page. This listing lets you select Matching Tiebacks, which will show in your order/price. If you want tiebacks separately, you can purchase them from Accessories.
